My passion for photography began when I bought my first camera at the age of 16. After ten years as a keen amateur, I turned professional in 1988 and have spent the past twenty years working in a wide variety of commercial areas ranging from large international companies such as Edison Power, to local artists such as Caroline Wallace.
Subjects have ranged from food to fashion and everything in between, however the subject isn't really important… for me, photography is a series of challenges and the more complex the challenge, or dull the subject, the more rewarding the image. A good example of this are a series of shots of mud, silt and reeds taken around a section of the River Severn near where my studio is situated and where I live in Longney, Gloucester, Gloucestershire, a small selection of them can be found in the "fine art photography section".
This site provides an over-view of some of my material. I offer digital photography services as well as artwork enhancements to your existing images and I endeavour to provide a professional yet personalized service to accommodate your budget and satisfy your business needs.
